Fatal I-15 Ramp Crash Claims One Life, Ejects Two in South Salt Lake
March 1, 2026 per KUTV, A tragic rollover crash on the northbound I-15 on-ramp from 3300 South in South Salt Lake has resulted in one fatality and serious injuries for another individual. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when a vehicle veered off the roadway, overturned, and ejected both occupants. The Utah Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
Details of the Crash
The fatal incident took place around 4:28 p.m. on Sunday. A Dodge Charger was traveling northbound on I-15 near the 3300 South exit. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the vehicle left the roadway to the right and overturned.
Ejections and Injuries
Both the driver, a woman, and the passenger, a man, were ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. They were subsequently transported to a local hospital. Tragically, the female driver was pronounced dead at the hospital. The male passenger sustained injuries that were reported as non-life-threatening.
