The incident occurred just after midnight on March 4, near the intersection of 1100 East and 500 South. Despite wearing a helmet, the rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Details of the Incident

According to Lt. Joe Cyr of the Salt Lake City Police Department, the motorcyclist reportedly struck a concrete barricade and was thrown over it.

Emergency medical services transported the injured rider to a nearby hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries.
